Going Paleo = Decluttering

Decluttering I am!  I have decluttered my diet from nasty processed foods.  I have cleaned cupboards out, throwing away all that candy we had saved from Valentine's Day.  I have gone through my cookbooks, getting rid (read- donating to the thrift store) of my Weight Watcher's books and Dr. Oz's "You on a Diet".  I am sure there are good recipes in there, but most of everything has grains.  And I have flipped through my 3-ring binders where I keep all the recipes I get from friends and/or print off the internet.  Oh yeah- and the menu mailers I subscribed to.  Even if I hadn't decided to make a change to Paleo- I probably still wouldn't use even 3% of all those recipes!  What a waste of space!


So now I have my ONE binder of Paleo friendly recipes that are either good as is, or just need a few tweaks.  And I still have one binder with the recipes handed down from my mom and grandma- not too many.  Those are for special occasions.  I am not delusional, I know I will never be 100% Paleo.  But let me say this, I feel so much better than I have in a very long time.  And that 1.5 inch off my waist and 2 inches off my hips say I am going in the right direction!  Even if I am not 100% Paleo all of the time, I will do my best to try!


I feel lighter, and in more than one way!
